Hi, I’m Dr. Jacque.
I am a Licensed Psychologist with over 12 years of experience helping people change their behavior. I have also grown into a fitness enthusiast. I'm an expert in how the mind and body connect.
I’m also just like you. I KNOW how hard it is to find time to exercise, meal plan, and practice self-care. I know that doing these things can leave you feeling guilty. I've been there! Before I started my journey towards physical and mental health, I felt:
In 2010, I decided that enough was enough. I went on my own wellness journey, and I discovered that the secret to lasting health began with making a radical mindset shift. Once I changed my mind about exercise and prioritized my health, I realized it truly was possible for someone like me to feel:
I learned that taking care of myself helps me take care of others. I learned how to build my fitness tribe. Through this journey, I have become the healthiest version of myself.....for me AND my family. I learned that when I changed my mind, my body followed.
I have helped Women of Color call bullshit on misinformation about diet and exercise, and replaced it with simple, healthy tools for their own lifestyles. I want to help Women of Color wade through the LIES told by the fitness industry. Diet pills, fad diets, bootcamps, personal training - it is easy to become overwhelmed. A lot of it is noise, and I want to help you tune that out and focus on what will work.
The more I work with Women of Color, the more excited I get about learning new ways to integrate health and wellness in ways that are simple, straightforward, and efficient.
Anyone can buy a gym membership or order another juicing cleanse. Building long term, sustainable health and wellness strategies is much more complex.
